An Illustrated Journey

November 2024

This collection of posters reflects a journey of visual and narrative exploration across a diverse array of deeply human themes. From the cultural celebration in the San Diego Latino Film Festival (2021 and 2024) to the call for harmony between urban spaces and nature in Yo Metrópoli and Naturaleza, each piece is a unique study of the relationships we maintain with ourselves, each other, and our environment.

Coexistence and Nature and Human delve into the coexistence between humans and nature, recurring themes in Naadeyé’s work, where illustration becomes a bridge to envision sustainable and equitable futures. In One Love, there is a call for unity and empathy, while Flourishing Education celebrates the growth of knowledge as a foundation for a fairer and more compassionate world.

With a distinctive visual approach and impactful messages, the posters in this exhibit aim to resonate with viewers, inviting them to reflect on the role of art in representing our shared experiences.
